Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills across multiple facets of construction, including framing, trim work, concrete forming, and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to craftsmanship. Responsibilities Assist with framing, door hanging, siding installation, and roofing tasks using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work. Install fixtures, cabinetry, trim carpentry elements, and perform drywall finishing including plastering and caulking. Support restoration efforts by engaging in water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general site cleanup. Operate CNC machines for fabrication or assembly tasks as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or manufacturing environments. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including scaffolding and heavy machinery. Experience in various carpentry disciplines such as woodworking, metal stud framing, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and project schematics interpretation. Familiarity with plumbing, electrical work, masonry, roofing techniques, and siding installation is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces. Prior experience in restoration industry projects or water damage restoration is advantageous.
