We are a well-established custom cabinet shop seeking an experienced bench carpenter to join our shop team. Our projects involve high-end custom cabinetry requiring precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. This role focuses on cutting, building and assembling custom cabinetry components using shop machinery and hand tools. Ideal candidates should be hardworking, reliable and take price in producing quality work. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently and independently as part of our shop's production team.

Job Duties:

Work at our production shop Read and interpret shop drawings accurately Cut & build cabinet components to meet design specs Operate shop machinery: table saw, edge bander, routers, joiner and more Maintain tight tolerances and verify measurements, fit, and alignment. Work independently from shop drawings to meet production deadlines Maintain a clean shop Collaborate with other areas: assembly, finish and installs What we are looking for: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building custom (not stock) cabinetry Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, elevations and plans Proficient with common shop tools (table saws, edge bander, routers, etc) Ability to lift and maneuver heavy cabinets safely (often with a helper) Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve Commitment to protecting finished materials and delivering a polished final product

Basics:

Full-time position Pay based on experience. Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
