In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trim, and other decorative woodwork with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating polished, aesthetically pleasing interiors that meet high standards of quality. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install baseboards, crown molding, door frames, window casings, and other trim components with accuracy. Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to ensure precise fit and finish on all projects. Use hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and levels to execute detailed carpentry work efficiently. Operate power tools including nail guns, drills, sanders, and routers safely and effectively. Prepare surfaces by caulking, filling gaps with putty or spackle, and sanding to achieve a smooth finish before painting or staining. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless workflow. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents on construction sites or during interior finishing tasks. Experience Proven experience in trim carpentry, baseboard installation, door hanging, and related finish carpentry tasks. Strong background in construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics for precise project execution. Familiarity with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and siding work is preferred. Hands-on experience with woodworking techniques including cabinetry installation and custom fabrications. Knowledge of construction site safety practices along with heavy lifting and scaffolding procedures. Industry experience in restoration projects such as water damage remediation or mold remediation is a plus. Ability to operate various power tools safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship across diverse materials like wood, metal, concrete forms, or masonry.
