Job Description
Looking for carpenters for commercial remodeling project in the Tucson area starting asap! 3 month prevailing wage project. Scope of work is framing / shoring / stairways / ideally some masonry as well. Must have basic tools, PPE and be able to pass a background check. Description Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times). Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers. Requirements 4+ yrs of carpentry experience Interprets blueprints and building specifications Must have previous framing experience and ability to do layout Must have proper tools of the trade Reliable transportation Good attendance and punctuality required Must be self-motivated Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish $22-30
