Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated to join our construction team. This role involves working on diverse projects including metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while developing your skills in various aspects of construction. Duties Erect metal buildings and install framing using metal studs and other materials Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks with precision Install rebar and interpret technical drawings for accurate placement Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site Execute masonry work including plastering, stucco, and other finishing techniques Read blueprints and construction plans to ensure project specifications are met Use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other equipment for accurate measurements and cuts Assist with roofing, siding, framing, and remodeling projects as needed Conduct dimensional measurements for proper installation and alignment Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely throughout the workday Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment during all phases of construction Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment Strong understanding of construction plans and technical specifications Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations on-site Knowledge of framing (including woodwork), plastering, stucco application, siding installation, and restoration techniques is desirable Construction management experience or background is a plus Valid experience in interpreting technical drawings and working with various materials such as metal studs or wood framing is essential Prior construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship This position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced construction professionals eager to contribute to diverse building projects while honing their skills across multiple trades.
