Position Overview:

We're looking for a reliable, skilled Carpenter to join our fabrication team. This role involves building a wide variety of scenic structures, retail displays, and event environments. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, a good understanding of carpentry tools and techniques, and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced production shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform rough and finish carpentry work, from framing to final installation Read and interpret shop drawings, sketches, and work orders Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment Install fabricated components at job sites as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate with project managers and teammates to meet project deadlines Ensure quality craftsmanship with attention to detail

Qualifications:

General carpentry experience required (finish carpentry and scenic fabrication experience a plus) Able to read blueprints and follow technical instructions Proficient with tools including table saws, routers, drills, sanders, and more Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required Must have and maintain a personal set of hand tools Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on ladders or at heights Experience in event production, themed entertainment, or fabrication is preferred
