Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter & Field Assistant to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential projects, focusing on precise carpentry, finishing touches, and assisting with various field tasks. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for craftsmanship, a strong work ethic, and a desire to contribute to high-quality building and remodeling projects. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience in the construction and restoration industry, supporting both seasoned carpenters and project managers in delivering exceptional results. Duties Execute finish carpentry tasks including door hanging, trim installation, siding, and fixture mounting with precision and attention to detail Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively on-site Material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment Site material delivery and supporting mutiple jobs Skills Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including residential trim carpentry, framing, siding, and door hanging Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) used in woodworking and finishing trades Experience working with drywall, caulking, stucco, plastering materials, and wood construction materials Truck driving Join our team if you're eager to develop your skills in carpentry while contributing to impactful residential projects.
