Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Lead Carpenter and Assistant Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in executing high-quality construction projects from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead skilled carpentry work while supporting project management functions such as scheduling, coordination, and client communication. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. Responsibilities Lead and supervise carpentry crews on various construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Assist in project planning by supporting construction estimating efforts and providing accurate material and labor assessments Coordinate daily activities on-site, including scheduling trades, managing deliveries, and maintaining project timelines. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure precise execution of design intent. Support project management tasks including tracking progress, updating schedules, preparing reports, and managing documentation. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Qualifications Proven experience in construction with strong site management skills. Extensive carpentry experience with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and contracts accurately. Strong understanding of contracts, project scope management, and time management principles Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members Join us to lead innovative projects that shape communities!
