Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Woodworker to join our team, responsible for crafting high-quality wooden products and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various woodworking techniques and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to producing exceptional craftsmanship. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble wooden components for various projects, ensuring precision and quality. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the construction of wooden structures. Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and joining wood materials. Execute joinery techniques to create strong and durable connections between pieces. Assist with roofing projects as needed, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and finished products. Engage in construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of wooden structures. Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, masonry, and electrical work to complete integrated projects. Experience Proven experience in woodworking or a related field is essential. Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to woodworking tasks. Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, roofing, heavy lifting techniques, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, and electrical experience will be considered an asset. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
