You will install fixtures, millwork, and finish carpentry in grocery stores, big-box retailers, and retail malls. Who You Are You are a finish carpenter who measures once because you already know where it goes You take pride in precision work that holds up to scrutiny under retail lighting where every seam shows You love the variety of travel and thrive walking onto a new job site ready to produce from day one You believe clean work, a clean site, and a professional attitude are non-negotiable You are the kind of carpenter project managers request back on the next job You bring a minimum of five years of trim and finish carpentry experience with commercial fixture installation or retail build-outs Who We Are Final Phase Construction is a commercial interior contractor specializing in fixture installation, millwork, and finish carpentry for retail environments Owners and general contractors choose us year after year for their most demanding and complex finish carpentry projects We are known as problem solvers who excel in logistics, scheduling, and the integration of sophisticated building elements Our work spans grocery stores, big-box retailers, and retail malls across the Western United States What You Will Do Each Day Install commercial metal fixtures including gondola shelving, display units, wall standards, and structural supports Perform finish carpentry including modular cabinets, countertops, wood base, trim, and wall paneling Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and layout plans to ensure accurate placement and alignment Install FRP wainscot, restroom accessories, toilet partitions, and plywood backing for future fixture mounting Hang sales floor display fixtures, artwork, signage supports, and decor elements Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines Why You'll Love Working Here $30 to $40 per hour based on experience Full-time seasonal Journeyman Finish Carpenter position (seasonal downtime typically December through February) All travel time is paid Per diem provided for out-of-town assignments Mileage reimbursement 50% company-paid health insurance 40 hours PTO in your first year 8 to 10 hour shifts with approximately 40-hour weeks during the 2026 season Next Steps If this Journeyman Finish Carpenter role fits your experience and the way you like to work, apply today.
