  • 50/hour, depending on experience Job Summary The Acoustical Panel Carpenter is responsible for the professional installation of high-end wallcoverings, acoustical panels, specialty wall systems, and ceiling products in luxury residential and commercial environments.
This position requires exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and manufacturer specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. Installers work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on schedule while representing the company with professionalism on every jobsite. Key Job Duties & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Building and installing custom frames, furring, and mounting systems for panels using hand and power tools with precise measuring, marking and layout of tracks, panels substrates and fabric. Install acoustical panels, sound-absorbing tiles, fabric-wrapped panels and other specialty ceiling and wall systems according to manufacturer specifications to ensure proper attachment. Using correct adhesives, fasteners, and mounting hardware appropriate for different wall types Seaming, finishing, and detailing fabric and panel edges for a clean, professional appearance Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation, quality standards, and warranty compliance. Keep work areas clean, organized, and protect surrounding surfaces. Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols Qualifications & Experience Required Proven experience in acoustical panel carpentry (Apprentice 1-3 years, Journeyman 4+ years) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions. Self-starter with excellent communication skills and fluent in English. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Team player with strong work ethic and professional appearance / behavior, who demonstrates the ability to get along with our team. Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance.
