Full Job Description Job Overview:
Maryland Interiors LLC is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Punch Work Carpenter to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on final-stage construction and finish work, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate is versatile, takes pride in clean, precise work, and can handle a variety of small tasks across multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete punch list items on residential and commercial projects Install and repair trim, baseboards, crown molding, and finish carpentry elements Perform cabinet installation and adjustments Handle minor tile work and repairs Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks (fixtures, outlets, minor troubleshooting) Identify and resolve small issues to bring projects to completion Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Proven experience in finish carpentry and punch work Strong knowledge of trim, cabinetry, and general construction tasks Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Reliable transportation to job sites in the San Jose area Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders as needed Preferred (but not required): Experience working on high-end residential finishes Broad skillset across multiple trades Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay ($28-$35 DOE) Steady, full-time work Supportive and professional team environment
