We specialize in residential and commercial doors, windows, and finish carpentry projects throughout Southern California. If you take pride in your work, show up on time, and know your way around a jobsite, we'd love to hear from you! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and ensuring the perfect fit of doors, windows, and related fixtures on construction sites. Your expertise will help create safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your carpentry skills while working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire you every day. Responsibilities Install entry doors, interior doors, windows, finish hardware, and trim Perform finish carpentry including casing, baseboards, jamb extensions, and other architectural details Work independently or alongside a crew to complete projects efficiently and professionally Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite Represent Coast Door and Hardware professionally with customers and contractors Conduct heavy lifting of materials and glass safely Perform quality control measurements to verify proper fit, alignment, and finish of installed components Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, caulking, metal stud framing, and fixture installation Requirements Valid California's Driver's License + Social Security Card Proven construction site experience with a focus on carpentry or finish work involving doors and windows Reliable truck or work vehicle + tools Proficient with construction tools including: Miter saws, table saws, circular saws, routers, nail guns, drills, impact drivers, and laser levels Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install finish materials Able to lift and carry doors, windows, and construction materials Dependable, self-motivated, and detail oriented Other Benefits Paid gas and drive time Sick pay accrued after 90 days Paid vacation time accrued after 1 year Competitive pay bases on level of experience •We are looking for someone who can solve problems in the field, work without constant supervision, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
