POSITION SUMMARY
McCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Journeymen Concrete Carpenters for an exciting project in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will cut, shape, and install concrete forming systems for large concrete pours. The ideal applicant has 3+ years of proven experience as a commercial carpenter and possesses excellent carpentry techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Form sidewalks, pads, grade beams, and other ground level structures by properly following/reading layout (independently) Safely strip wall form systems Assist with the building of wall form and deck form systems Recognize hazards and danger zones Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs Successfully complete required training to use personal arrest system Assist other trades when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience with self-perform concrete work in commercial, civil, or marine environments Must understand level, plumb, area and volume/square concepts Understand construction terminology Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.) Proven commitment to Safety Work in an organized manner Able to work night shifts when needed Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site Ability to work independently and follow instructions Must be self-motivated and can work well with others Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces Minimum age 18+ Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization

Journeyman:
