Ready to construct secret doors, hidden compartments, and intricate puzzle boxes—on a production schedule? Escapology builds immersive escape rooms that thousands of players step into every week. We're a fast-moving production workshop, and we're hiring a skilled Carpenter & Prop Fabricator to turn design plans into the tangible, high-quality props and set pieces that define our adventures. In this hands-on role, you'll build precisely from detailed drawings and deliver durable, repeatable results on schedule—pieces that pass inspection the first time and keep build timelines on track. If you take pride in accurate work, enjoy a creative challenge, and like the satisfaction of a productive day—where pieces move steadily from plan to finished build—you'll fit right in. Your Role on the Production Floor Build to the

Following detailed 2D and 3D drawings, construct, assemble, and finish a wide range of props and set pieces—working with everything from raw lumber and laminates to precision CNC-cut MDF, plywood, and acrylic. Build it accurately and get it right the first time, so nothing comes back for rework. Build on
Schedule:
Plan your builds to work efficiently and minimize waste, delivering finished pieces within build timelines. Balance precision with the pace of a busy production floor—speed and accuracy together, not one at the expense of the other. Integrate the

Skillfully integrate low-voltage electronic components—magnetic locks, sensors, switches, and PLCs—directly into your builds, so every puzzle functions perfectly the first time. Hold the

Take pride in your work from start to finish. Every piece meets our standards for quality, durability, and appearance—built to last through thousands of player interactions. Work With the
Build Team:
Collaborate with our CNC operators, designers, and fellow builders to solve build challenges. Take clear direction, manage your time to meet deadlines, and help keep the shop clean, safe, and organized.
Grow With Production:
As production needs shift, cross-train and step into broader workshop tasks—supporting projects, assisting across teams, and contributing wherever your skills add the most value.
Sitewide Responsibilities:
Take part in company-wide initiatives, projects, and operational duties that keep the facility running at its best, supporting other departments as the needs of the business dictate. What You Bring We're looking for a highly skilled carpenter who blends traditional technique with modern fabrication—and delivers precise work at production speed. Required Foundations 3+ years of carpentry experience, especially in fields that demand precision and pace, such as cabinetry or custom furniture, finish or construction carpentry, architectural millwork, or production and manufacturing fabrication. Expert-level proficiency with a full range of professional woodworking tools, including table saws, miter saws, pneumatic tools, sanders, and hand tools. The ability to read, interpret, and build from complex 2D and 3D drawings accurately—getting it right the first time. A proven ability to deliver high-quality work at production speed —balancing precise craftsmanship with deadlines, build schedules, and consistent daily output. Bonus Points If You Have Hands-on experience integrating low-voltage electronics (magnetic locks, reed switches, sensors) into carpentry builds. Proven success assembling projects from CNC-cut components. Deep knowledge of working with plywood, MDF, hardwoods, laminates, and acrylics, plus familiarity with hardware, fasteners, and finishing techniques. Direct experience building for escape rooms, theme parks, immersive entertainment venues, or other high-volume production environments.
