In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and finishing custom stairs, as well as performing a variety of detailed carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and durability. Job Duties Install finished staircases in residential homes including stringers, treads, risers, landings and railings Deliver clean, precise, finished carpentry work Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom stairs including stringers, treads, risers, handrails, and balustrades with precision and attention to detail Fasten materials together with nails, screws, staples, and adhesives Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for framing, woodworking, and finishing tasks Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure seamless project progression Conduct site inspections to verify measurements, quality standards, and safety compliance during all phases of construction Assist with other carpentry-related tasks including occasional drywall installation and taping compound during remodeling products Qualifications 3+ years of experience in stair building and finish carpentry within residential or commercial construction environments Proficiency with heavy machinery manufacturing tools such as table saws, planers, jointers, time saver sanders, and CNC Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, technical drawings, and technical fabrication processes Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites Ability to work independently and as a team Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and interpreting detailed instructions Reliable transportation with a clean driving record What We Need From You Resume At least 2 Professional References Provide photos of stairs cases or finished work to with your name Benefits 401(k) Annual Contribution Health insurance Paid time off (6) Paid Holidays per year About Us We are a team of over 10 people with the knowledge, ability, and desire to create something truly impressive.
