Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This long-term substitute opportunity supports children and young adults at a well-resourced campus featuring two distinctive programs: one serving ages PreK-8 and another for individuals ages 9-22. The caseload is intentionally kept small to ensure individualized attention, with a focus on students with autism and behavioral needs. You'll have access to an outstanding team including multiple SLPs and a number of behavior technicians, providing an exceptional foundation of support. The assignment begins as soon as possible or by July 1st, continuing through November 2026 and includes both Extended School Year (ESY) and Normal School Year (NSY) sessions. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFs are encouraged to apply Previous experience working in a school setting is advantageous, particularly with autism and behavioral needs Ability to collaborate positively within a multidisciplinary support team Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Your responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students across age ranges Develop, review, and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, BTs, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes Participate in team meetings and provide input on strategies for student success Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to school and regulatory standards Immerse yourself in a collaborative, resource-rich school dedicated to student growth and staff support.
