In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will help bring architectural plans to life, ensuring safety, quality, and precision on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential remodels to large-scale commercial builds, contributing your craftsmanship to create durable and aesthetically pleasing structures. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, and other building materials with precision. Erect metal buildings and frameworks using metal stud framing techniques while ensuring structural integrity. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work to support foundational and structural elements. Operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site. Execute roofing tasks including shingling or metal roofing installation while adhering to safety standards. Conduct drywall installation, plastering, trim carpentry, and restoration work to enhance interior finishes. Interpret blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure all construction aligns with design specifications. Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in carpentry (10+ Years) or related construction fields with a strong understanding of construction site operations. Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints effectively. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential carpentry equipment. Experience with metal building erection, concrete forming & finishing, masonry work, roofing, siding installation, and drywall is highly preferred. Knowledge of rebar installation and reinforcement techniques for concrete projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on demanding job sites. Familiarity with construction management practices is a plus but not required. Basic math skills including dimensional measurements and calculations necessary for precise craftsmanship. Strong commitment to safety standards with experience operating heavy machinery or equipment considered an asset.
