Lead Carpenter / Crew Lead

About Us:

We are a growing Southwest Florida contractor specializing in hurricane protection systems, impact windows and doors, commercial glass, and custom outdoor living spaces. We supply, fabricate and install: Impact rolldown shutters/screens, accordion shutters, bahama shutters, impact windows/doors, entry doors, storefront systems and commercial glass, pergolas, awnings and trellises. We are looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter who can perform hands on work while also supervising crews, coordinating jobsite activities and maintaining high quality craftmanship.

Responsibilities:

Carpentry & Construction

• Perform and supervise rough and finish carpentry
• Layout and framing for outdoor structures
• Install trim, siding and exterior finishes
• Assist with installation of windows, doors, shutters and screens when needed
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specs Site & Project Supervision
• Lead field crews and subcontractors
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities and workflow
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to company standards
• Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction
• Communicate progress, issues and material needs with management
• Keep jobsites clean, organized and professional Construction Experience
• Concrete footings and slab prep
• Paver installation and layout
• Stucco repair and patchwork
• Drywall repair and finishing
• Painting and touch up work
• Waterproofing and sealing
• Minor punch list and service work Qualifications
• 5+ years of carpentry and construction
• Experience leading crews and supervising projects
• Skilled with power tools, hand tools and jobsite equipment
• Ability to lift heavy materials, get on swing stage/scaffolding Health-Vision-Dental available after 60 days.

Paid vacation after 1 year. Company vehicle provided for work use After 90 days of employment, we offer various paid days off thru out the year--days are selected by Management.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
