As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential properties. This is a full-time position located in Fernandina Beach.

Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine project specifications. Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials. Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding. Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures. Collaborating with other construction workers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Assisting Superintendents with managing the field crew, and sub-contractors. Assisting Superintendents with managing the schedule.

The Type of Person Required:

Proven experience as a Carpenter. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.

Growth Opportunities:

As a lead carpenter grows in skills and knowledge there may be opportunity to apply for the role of Superintendent. Who is your Manager? You will directly report to your Superintendent.
