Candidates should be comfortable working from construction plans and using hand and power tools to complete framing work safely and efficiently.

PAY RATE

: $25 - $30/hr (based on experience) Responsibilities Perform wood framing on a commercial construction project Frame walls, partitions, openings, and other structural/non-structural components Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and layout drawings Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Perform layout and ensure framing is plumb, level, and square Assist with installation of sheathing and other related carpentry materials Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all project safety requirements and jobsite procedures Perform other carpentry and framing duties as assigned Previous commercial wood framing experience required Ability to read and understand construction plans and measurements Proficient with common hand and power tools Ability to work safely on an active commercial construction site Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance Own tools and reliable transportation OSHA 10 or other safety training is a plus #VHPA
