Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship and attention to detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new construction, utilizing your extensive carpentry skills and construction knowledge. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Perform framing work including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming for various building projects. Install siding, stucco, roofing materials, cabinetry, doors, and other fixtures with precision. Conduct restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and general renovation work. Measure and cut materials accurately using woodworking techniques; fabricate custom components as needed. Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe and efficient project progression. Follow safety protocols on-site; maintain a clean work environment; adhere to all OSHA standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, roofing, siding, and cabinetry installation. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; familiarity with CNC machinery or fabrication is a plus. Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, nail guns), and heavy equipment for construction purposes. Knowledge of various construction techniques including masonry, electrical wiring experience, plumbing basics, tile laying, flooring installation, drywall finishing (plastering), and metal stud framing. Experience in restoration industry projects such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding tasks on-site. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred; relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training are advantageous.
