Long-term opportunity with overtime available!

PAY:

$25-$30/hr. (based upon experience)

HOURS:

Expected shifts will be 8.5-hour days starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 3:30 PM

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday; approximately 40+ hours/week. Must be willing to work overtime.

Temp-to-hire position Concrete Form Carpenters will perform commercial concrete construction work, including slab preparation, topping slabs, structural formwork, tie beams and columns, precast deck systems, rebar installation, and concrete placement. Qualifications for

Concrete Form Carpenters:

Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience required; more experience preferred. Experience with slab prep and topping slabs , including grading, leveling, and preparing surfaces for concrete pours. Experience forming and setting commercial structural tie beams and columns . Experience working with precast concrete plank/deck systems . Proficient in constructing wood/metal forms and tying rebar steel cages. Experience managing, directing, and placing concrete using boom and line pumps . Must be able to perform duties requiring standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and twisting throughout the workday. Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Spanish speakers are welcome to apply.

Tools & PPE Required:

Candidates must provide their own standard trade hand tools, including: Tool belt or pouch 25-35 ft. heavy-duty measuring tape Framing hammer or 22 oz. rigging axe Speed square or framing square Rebar tie twister or automatic tying tool Chalk line Utility knife with extra blades Torpedo level or 24-inch level Framing chisel Adjustable crescent wrench Pry bar or cat's paw nail puller Pencil or lumber crayon

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation to the job site. Candidates must be prepared to work outdoors in hot conditions.
