Marine Carpenter / Dock Carpenter Imperial Marine Construction, Inc. - Marco Island, FL Full‑time | In‑field | Monday-Friday About Us Imperial Marine Construction is a respected marine contractor specializing in seawalls, docks, boat lifts, and coastal structures throughout Marco Island and surrounding areas. We are seeking an experienced, dependable Carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and can perform in a fast‑paced, outdoor, marine‑construction environment. Position Summary The Carpenter is responsible for building, repairing, and installing docks, decks, boat lifts, and other marine structures. This role requires strong carpentry skills, physical endurance, and the ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a field crew. Key Responsibilities Construct, repair, and install docks, decks, and marine structures Operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely Read and follow plans, measurements, and layout instructions Assist with piling installation, framing, decking, and hardware installation Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Work effectively with crew members and supervisors Follow all safety procedures and company standards Perform additional tasks as needed to support field operations Required Qualifications Proven carpentry experience (marine construction preferred but not required) Ability to lift 50-80 lbs and work outdoors in Florida weather Reliable transportation to our Naples shop. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions Experience with power tools, saws, drills, and construction equipment Ability to work on docks, boats, barges, and uneven surfaces Preferred Qualifications Marine construction experience (docks, seawalls, boat lifts, pilings) Experience operating skid steers, augers, or small equipment Knowledge of marine hardware, lumber types, and fasteners Ability to read basic plans or blueprints What We're Looking For We want someone who is: Dependable and consistently on time Comfortable working outdoors and on the water Hands‑on, hardworking, and safety‑minded Able to work well with a crew and take direction Motivated to grow with the company Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday (start times vary depending on job site) Full‑time, year‑round work

Pay:
