WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING AN INSTALLER/HELPER FOR HURRICANE SHUTTERS
!! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shutter Installer/helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and experience with various installation techniques. As a Shutter Installer/helper, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, servicing and installing shutters to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our clients' spaces. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities :
Measure and assess window dimensions to ensure proper shutter fit. Utilize power tools and hand tools for assembling shutters. Install shutters according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Perform trim carpentry tasks related to shutter installation, including frame carpentry. Apply caulking where necessary to ensure a weather-tight seal. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Provide maintenance, such as lubrication on all shutters. Experience with swing stages and drops on high rise buildings is preferred.
Requirements :
Must be bilingual. Not afraid of heights. Able to work in all weather types. Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials. Proven experience in trim carpentry or related fields such as maintenance person services or general carpentry. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to follow detailed instructions for installations. Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to fabricate solutions on-site. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
