Responsibilities Assist with the installation, removal, and repair of hurricane shutters on residential and commercial properties. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and secure shutter components according to the cutsheet. Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials, shutters, and equipment around job sites. Prepare surfaces through caulking, painting, or trim carpentry to ensure a professional finish. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Prior construction site experience is highly preferred; familiarity with remodeling or handyman work is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and assembly processes. Knowledge of carpentry including frame carpentry and trim carpentry. Experience with glass installation or fixture is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Bilingual 1 + year of experience preferred Compensation based on experience!
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
