Grayson's Custom Homes (GCH) is seeking a reliable and hardworking carpenter to assist with various construction and woodworking tasks. We do both rough and finish carpentry. GCH specializes in home improvement and new construction. We are a licensed residential contractor.

Responsibilities:

Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Load and unload tools, equipment, and building materials Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision Support framing, installation, and finishing work as needed

Requirements:

3(+) years experience in rough carpentry and/or fence building Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials; must have your own tool bags and a set of basic hand tools Ability to lift heavy materials (100lbs unassisted) and work in various weather conditions Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic, self-starter with a good attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site; must be willing to travel around Santa Rosa and surrounding counties Workers comp exemption before start date Paid as 1099 Pay is based on experience starting at $20 an hour
