Job Description

Reed Design Build has been remodeling in Collier and Lee counties since 1991. Our kitchen and bath design center of Reed Design Build LLC includes a designer showroom displaying cabinetry and products for remodeling the home. We are a one of a kind builder that provides our clients the comfort of a design center for color selections plus a full turn-key construction process. We are hiring highly skilled lead carpenters for our Naples remodeling company. Our ideal candidate prides him or herself on being detail oriented and having exceptional organization and time management skills.
Basic Responsibilities:
1. Plan, organize, and oversee carpentry projects. 2. Coordinate with clients, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and expectations. 3. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine project scope and materials needed. 4. Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters and helpers, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed. 5. Ensure that work is completed according to building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. 6. Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the worksite. 7. Perform hands-on carpentry work, including framing, trim work, and cabinetry. 8. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary. 9. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or changes. 10. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process. 11. Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. 12. Train and onboard new carpenters and helpers as needed. .This is a hands on position that requires interacting with high end clients. Outstanding customer service is a must. Applicants should have a vehicle, such as a truck or van, plus all carpenter tools We are a drug free workplace! A background and drug screening will be completed on all potential hires.
