Lead Carpenter

Job Summary We are a small 30 year old established residential building contractor specializing in room additions and home renovations throughout Pinellas County, Florida. We are looking for an individual that wants a long-term commitment with a small team environment that will provide a consistent pipeline of projects, steady work in Pinellas County. Responsibilities Layout, demolition, framing, windows, doors, soffits/fascia, drywall, trim, punchout. 3-4 Jobsites at a time. Lead 1-2 carpenters at a time. Call/pass inspections. Solve problems and production bottlenecks in the field, keep the job moving. Manage onsite sub-contractors that maybe at the job. Job Quality control and Safety. Experience and Requirments Leader and self-starter. Good communication skills with a positive atitude at all times. Minimum of ten years experience in framing, trim and construction. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and measurements . Material takeoffs. Needs to have a strong tool/equipment base. Needs to have valid driver's license and reliable pick-up truck used for the job.
