The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, replacement, and repair of residential and commercial windows and doors while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and customer service. This position requires hands-on experience with impact windows and doors, finish carpentry, job site preparation, and construction tools. The successful candidate will work directly with homeowners, contractors, and team members to ensure installations are completed efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with company standards and building code requirements. Duties & Responsibilities Install, remove, and replace residential and commercial windows and doors. Perform rough and finish carpentry related to window and door installations. Measure openings and verify dimensions prior to installation. Read and interpret work orders, installation instructions, plans, and specifications. Ensure installations are completed according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards. Apply sealants, flashing, trim, and finishing materials as required. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites throughout the installation process. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Identify and communicate any job site issues or unforeseen conditions. Load, unload, transport, and properly handle windows, doors, and installation materials. Assist with service work, adjustments, and warranty repairs when needed. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition. Experience & Qualifications Previous experience installing windows, doors, or performing carpentry work. Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and installation techniques. Ability to accurately measure and verify field dimensions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and job site equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift and carry heavy windows, doors, and construction materials. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with impact-resistant windows and doors. Knowledge of Florida Building Code requirements and installation practices. Finish carpentry experience. OSHA safety training or construction safety certifications.
