Job Description
Seeking a reliable, hands-on carpenter or construction-minded individual to help with ongoing improvements, repairs, and custom projects at a private single-family home and surrounding property. This is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working with tools, solving problems, and building or modifying things around a home. The work will vary by project and may include carpentry, light renovation, framing, trim work, building custom storage, planters, small sheds, outdoor structures, fencing, pavers, repairs, and other home improvement projects. We are looking for someone who can work independently, take pride in their work, and help turn ideas into finished projects. Professional carpentry experience is preferred, but we are also open to someone with strong hands-on construction skills, solid tool knowledge, and a good work ethic. Possible Work Includes Carpentry and basic construction projects Building custom storage, shelving, planters, sheds, or small structures Light framing, trim, doors, hardware, and repair work Outdoor improvements, fencing, pavers, and property upgrades Assisting with renovation and customization projects General home repairs and punch-list items Helping maintain and improve the overall property Ideal Candidate Has carpentry, construction, remodeling, or handyman experience Comfortable using common power tools and hand tools Able to measure, cut, build, repair, and troubleshoot Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Takes pride in clean, solid, finished work Willing to handle a variety of indoor and outdoor projects Has reliable transportation Pay $22-$32/hour depending on experience, tools, and ability. Higher pay is available for someone with proven carpentry or construction experience who can complete projects independently. Hours 30-40 hours per week , depending on availability, workload, and skill level. Schedule can be somewhat flexible.
