In an industry that is driven by quantity we are driven by quality. The perfect individual must have a good attitude and work well with others as it is important that you are a team player, willing to learn and to continue to add to one's skillset. We focus on commercial construction; Thus, this person must have significant previous carpenter experience. The right candidate lives in Melbourne, Orlando, Tampa or Jacksonville and is willing to travel.

Qualifications and Skills:

Commercial Carpenter experience 3+ years (Preferred) Able to travel Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications Strong working knowledge of job site safety Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials

Responsibilities:

Installs foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment Ability to assemble/build scaffolding and other needed construction structure Ability to multitask and stay focused Attention to detail and organizational skills Other duties as assigned
