Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter and play a vital role in bringing building projects to life! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your carpentry expertise to create, install, and restore structures with precision and craftsmanship. Duties Prefers job applicant has their own tools but some are provided. Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures, rulers, and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials. Installing wooden structures such as interior walls, roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work Construction using power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns. Install various building components including drywall, siding, stucco, trim carpentry, metal studs, and roofing systems. Assist with remodeling projects and restoration work by removing old materials and installing new finishes with attention to detail. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and construction codes while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or related construction roles on commercial or residential sites. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics reading. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining good physical condition for demanding tasks. Basic math skills for dimensional measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship. Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is required. Strong teamwork orientation with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
