Shop Carpenter / CNC Operator

About the role CIS Solar builds custom interior systems for RVs, vans, marine, and overlanding rigs. We're hiring a Shop Carpenter / CNC Operator to own the wood and CNC side of every build — from CAD drawing to fitted cabinet to finished install. This isn't a "run someone else's program" seat. You'll design, draw, cut, and fit. The kind of work where the customer sees your craft every time they open a cabinet door.

Reports to:

CEO. On-site in Vero Beach, FL. What you'll own Cabinet making and fitted finish carpentry for RV / van / marine interiors CNC operation (router + plasma) — running the machine and creating the cut files Shop drawings — reading them and creating them in CAD/CAM Custom one-off interior builds for client rigs Layout, material selection, and quality control on your own work What we're looking for 5+ years finish carpentry / cabinet making — you've built fitted interiors, not just framed walls CNC operation experience — router and/or plasma; comfortable creating your own cut files Reads AND creates shop drawings (CAD/CAM) Tradesperson who takes pride in fit and finish — every cabinet, every joint Vero Beach area or willing to relocate Bonus points 3D scanning experience (we use it for designing fitted interiors) 3D printing experience (prototyping, custom parts) Prior RV / van / marine / skoolie interior work Travel Minimal. Possibly a short NC trip in the first 30 days for training. Otherwise on-site at the Vero shop.
