• Must Have Your Own Shop, Truck, Tools & Helper We're a busy home remodeling company looking for an experienced Kitchen Reface Installer / Carpenter who knows how to transform an existing kitchen and takes pride in clean, professional work. Our kitchen refacing projects involve installing new cabinet doors, drawer fronts, panels, trim, molding and related components while keeping and upgrading the customer's existing cabinet layout. You'll be working in occupied homes, so we're looking for someone who is skilled, clean, reliable and respectful of the customer's home. What You'll Be Doing Install new cabinet doors and drawer fronts Reface existing kitchen cabinet boxes Install cabinet end panels, skins and fillers Install crown molding, light rail, toe kicks and trim Modify and fabricate existing cabinets when needed Make accurate cuts and adjustments in the field Install hinges, drawer hardware and cabinet accessories Perform basic carpentry and finish work Make sure doors and drawers are properly aligned and adjusted Keep the jobsite clean and protect the customer's home Complete each project to a high-quality finish What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who has real kitchen installation and carpentry experience and can work independently.
You must have:
Proven experience with kitchen cabinet installation or refacing Strong carpentry and finish-work skills Experience installing cabinet doors and drawer fronts Ability to make accurate measurements and field modifications Your own shop/workshop for cabinet and carpentry work Your own reliable helper Your own truck Your own professional tools Reliable transportation Good attention to detail Ability to work cleanly inside occupied homes Professional appearance and attitude Good communication with homeowners and our office Ability to show up on time and complete the job properly Experience with cabinet refacing, custom cabinetry, finish carpentry, trim work or kitchen remodeling is highly preferred. The Right Person This is a good fit for an experienced installer who can walk into an existing kitchen, look at what needs to be done, and figure it out without needing to be walked through every step. We want someone who understands that the little things matter — straight lines, even reveals, properly aligned doors, clean cuts, tight joints and a finished kitchen that looks professionally built.
