The Bridge Carpenter will be responsible for building, setting and dismantling formwork used in bridge construction and concrete structures. Key Responsibilities Build, install and dismantle concrete forms for bridge construction and structural concrete Construct formwork for bridge decks, walls, footings, columns, caps and other concrete structures Measure, cut and install form materials Set forms accurately to required dimensions, elevations and grades Assist with reinforcing steel and concrete placement as needed Work safely around heavy equipment and active construction operations Work effectively as part of a bridge construction crew Follow all jobsite safety and quality standards Required Qualifications Previous experience in bridge carpentry, concrete forming or structural construction Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install forming materials Ability to work safely at heights and in varying outdoor conditions Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience in heavy civil bridge construction Experience forming bridge decks, caps, columns, footings, or retaining walls DOT or public works experience Experience working around cranes and heavy construction equipment Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance, Accident, and Critical Illness Coverage Employer-paid $20,000 Life Insurance Policy 401(k) with Employer Match Overtime opportunities Long-term, stable infrastructure work Competitive pay based on experience Company Overview Southeastern Site Development, Inc. is a leading heavy civil construction company operating throughout Georgia.
