Job Description

We are a small family owned construction company looking for someone who is self motivated, someone who can work and think independently as well as work as a team. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in this field and wants to move up into a Foreman's Position as experience and knowledge is proven.
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN PERSONAL RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
You will be required to move to different job sites throughout the day and will need your own vehicle. Mileage reimbursement may apply. You must have a current and active driver's license. You must provide your own hand tools ex. hammer, screwdrivers etc. All power tools will be provided. This is a construction helper position with the possibility to move up to Forman.
Duties may include:
Drywall Framing & Finishing Hanging Commercial Doors and Frames Cleaning Demolition Painting and Patching Forklift and Scissor Lift Operation Mechanical Operation (various machines) Supervision on Job Sites Daily Reporting Other Construction Related Work You must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overnight and weekend shifts. Must be on time every day and must be able to pass a drug test. Our office and workshop is located at 3426 Browns Mill Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30321.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in Construction (preferred)
  • Ability to manage numerous activities simultaneously under stressful conditions
  • Ability to travel and/or work off-shifts if needed
  • Own hand tools
  • Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment
  • Good time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver
  • Good math skills
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
