Job Description
$35 - $40 Per hour + Performance Based Incentives & Bonuses! Job Summary Kauakahi Wood Kraft is seeking a talented and dedicated Skilled Carpenter to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence and precision in every project. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Perform residential carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, fixture installation, siding, and cabinet installation. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, metal stud framing, masonry, and other construction activities. Execute precise woodwork using woodworking machines and fabricate custom components as needed. Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, stucco application, and water damage restoration projects. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols for power tool safety and overall site safety. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, and mold remediation efforts. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, carpentry, and general construction site work. Strong knowledge of wood construction materials, schematics, metal stud framing, and restoration techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools for woodworking and metalworking, CNC machinery, and woodworking machines. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to ensure precise execution of tasks. Experience with fixture installation, drywall finishing such as plastering or stucco application, caulking, siding work, and flooring installation. Familiarity with electrical experience related to residential wiring or fixture setup is a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
