Skilled Carpenters:
Higher pay based on experience and ability Position Overview Carpenters in our pole barn division work on the construction of post-frame buildings, agricultural structures, and commercial projects. This is hands-on, outdoor work that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Assist in the construction of pole barns and post-frame buildings Perform framing, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Set posts, trusses, and install metal or wood siding/roofing Operate hand tools and power tools safely Read plans and layouts (skilled carpenters) Maintain job site safety and cleanliness Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently Requirements Entry-Level Candidates No carpentry experience required - willing to train At least 1 year of labor-intensive or outdoor work preferred (construction, farming, landscaping, etc.) Strong work ethic and reliability Willingness to learn and take direction Skilled Carpenters 2+ years of carpentry or pole barn/post-frame experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and work independently Experience with framing and structural builds Strong attention to quality and craftsmanship All Applicants Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently Comfortable working at heights Team-oriented with a positive attitude Valid driver's license preferred If you meet the requirements, apply directly to this post or send your resume to smontiel@aerotek. com Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
