Job Description:

Looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. Each morning begins at the shop, where you will receive your daily project assignments, gather tools and materials, and travel with a crew to job sites around the Des Moines metro area. Work includes a wide range of carpentry tasks, with a strong focus on window and door installation, trim work, framing, cabinet installation, and remodel projects.

• Responsibilities Install windows and doors, which make up the majority of daily work. Trim out windows and doors and install hardware. Frame rooms and assist with deck‑related carpentry tasks. Install cabinets and support remodel and tenant‑improvement projects. Maintain clean job sites and properly pack up tools and materials at the end of each project.
• Essential Skills Skilled in measuring and cutting materials to specification. Experience trimming windows and hanging doors. Minimum 2 years of general carpentry experience.
• Additional Qualifications Experience in any finish carpentry, millwork, drywall, and cabinetry.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Valid driver's license and clean record needed. Professional conduct and strong communication on job sites. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
