Falls Framing LLC located at 3409 W 47th Street Sioux Falls, SD 57106, (605) 203-0181 is seeking 30 temporary full-time Carpenter Helpers to work at 4101 Harbor Dr, Sioux City, IA 51111; Woodbury County, Multiple Cities and Towns in Woodbury County from 10/01/25 to 05/15/2026 to Perform lesser tasks including loading and unloading building materials, laying out lumber, siding, trusses and other components for structure. Assisting lead carpenters with basic carpentry tasks such as holding, cutting, and nailing lumber according to lead carpenter instructions. Assembling prepared components at construction site. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs for 75 yards. Must be able to handle temperature extremes. Some weekends work. No prior education or experience is required. On the job, training will be provided. $15.03/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised. The wage rate may vary on experience and/or merit.$22.55/hr for overtime. Up to 10 hours of overtime may be available but not guaranteed. All deductions from the workers paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages and pay Bi-weekly by check. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. The employer will provide housing as an option to employees living outside the regular commuting distance. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $225.00 deducted per Bi-weekly paycheck for rent and utilities. Optional daily transportation will be provided from and to worksite. In the first workweek, the cost of transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be directly reimbursed to every worker. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travel to the place of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least $16.28/day to a maximum of $68.00/day with receipts. Also, workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
