Sioux City is growing and we at Taps Management want to help be apart of that Growth. 1854 Grille will be located directly in front of the Brand new Double Tree Hotel. We have decided that for every dollar spent with our Restaurant we will be giving 2% back to the community. We will be partnering with local Charities and Groups throughout the year to give back to within the Sioux City Area. We will have several Tap Handles dedicated to local Breweries only. We are looking to partner with local vineyards to provide our house wine for us. We want to build great Partnerships within the Sioux City Area and deliver when we say we are investing in our Community. As a Restaurant General Manager at 1854 Grille, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality food and excellent Guest service. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a positive work environment and achieving goals. • Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure food preparation, presentation, and quality meet company standards and guest expectations.
• Train, develop, and supervise staff on food handling procedures, Guest interactions, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to introduce menu enhancements and maintain consistency in food offerings.
• Manage inventory, control food costs, and implement waste reduction strategies.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Schedule staff effectively based on business needs and budget constraints.
• Address Guest inquiries, comments, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the dining experience.

• Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Genral Manager.
• Strong background in casual to fine dining, restaurant operations, and staff training.
• Proficiency in food preparation, supervision, and Guest service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Understanding of food industry regulations and standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
