Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess a variety of skills related to concrete work. This role involves physical labor and requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team on various construction projects. The Concrete carpenter will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Duties Assist in the setup and operation of concrete mixers and other equipment. Perform tasks related to concrete forming, finishing, and pouring. Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Engage in heavy lifting and moving materials as necessary. Support various construction activities including masonry, carpentry, plastering, and flooring installation. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Qualifications Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete work is preferred. Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Familiarity with construction estimating, renovation techniques, and restoration processes. Skills in hardscape installation, tile laying, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and welding are beneficial. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience in operating concrete pumping equipment is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites. A commitment to safety practices on the job site.
