Carpenter / Laborer Commercial Construction & Tenant Improvement

Altecca Construction LLC is a locally owned and operated general contractor based in the Treasure Valley. We specialize in commercial construction with a strong focus on tenant improvements, retail buildouts, restaurants, office spaces, and other high-quality commercial projects. We pride ourselves on delivering projects on time and on budget while maintaining strong partnerships with clients and our field teams. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking team member for a dynamic Carpenter / Laborer role. This is a hands-on, versatile position on active commercial job sites throughout the Treasure Valley. You'll perform a wide variety of carpentry and labor tasks — from skilled finish work to general site support — helping keep projects moving smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a dynamic mix of carpentry and labor duties on commercial tenant improvement and construction projects, including framing, setting doors and hardware, installing trim and base, touch-up painting, and general finish carpentry Handle general labor and "pickup" work on site such as job site cleaning, material handling, organizing tools and materials, and assisting with whatever tasks are needed to keep the project progressing Support the superintendent and other trades with various on-site needs, including layout help, demo assistance, and miscellaneous carpentry or labor tasks Read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and instructions (training provided for the right candidate) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site while following all OSHA regulations and company safety policies Properly use and care for hand tools and power tools; assist with general tool and equipment maintenance as needed

Requirements:

No experience required but 2+ years of carpentry or construction labor experience is preferred. — we are happy to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Basic proficiency with hand and power tools is helpful (we will train the right person) Ability (or willingness to learn) to read and follow basic blueprints and instructions Reliable transportation and willingness to work at multiple job sites across the Treasure Valley Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders/scaffolding, and perform tasks in various indoor/outdoor conditions Strong attention to detail, reliability, and positive team attitude OSHA 10-hour Construction certification preferred (but not required)
