(CPC) is seeking experienced Concrete Form Carpenters for highway, bridge, and heavy civil construction projects in the Boise, Idaho area, including work on the I-84 corridor. This is a full-time position working 40+ hours per week. CPC offers competitive pay, weekly payroll, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE Position Summary The Concrete Form Carpenter is responsible for building, installing, bracing, aligning, and removing concrete formwork for heavy highway and bridge construction projects. Successful candidates will have experience working with concrete forms, reading construction plans, using hand and power tools, and performing physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble wood formwork Install, brace, align, and remove concrete forms Layout and construct forming systems according to project specifications Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and layout information Assist with concrete placement and finishing operations Assist with placement of reinforcing steel as directed Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 2 years of concrete form carpentry experience preferred Highway, bridge, heavy civil, or commercial concrete construction experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math Experience reading construction plans and blueprints preferred Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and tools Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Work Environment Outdoor construction environment with exposure to varying weather conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting Work may involve uneven terrain, elevated work areas, and physically demanding labor Most projects are in the Boise area Benefits CPC offers one of the most competitive benefit packages in the industry, including: Medical, Dental and Vision Plan 401 (k) Plan and Profit Sharing Paid Vacation Industry Training and Advancement Opportunities.
