You'll follow the project manager's direction to help construct and maintain a variety of long-lasting buildings and products. Responsibilities:

Chisel and assemble kitchen cabinets, drywall, siding, and furniture Quantify, shape, cut, and smooth carpentry materials Fabricate rafters, partitions, stairways, and window and door frames Review blueprints and sketches to understand requirements Inspect, maintain and repair structures Construct and repair log structures, fences, decks, and wood frameworks Read and execute plans, layouts, and job specifications Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision Install posts, gates, rails, and structural components Perform concrete work for posts and footings (as needed) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate with team members and leadership to keep jobs on track

Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques Precise measuring and math skills are required A high school diploma or GED is preferred Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience Experience with log work, framing, or fencing preferred Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, punctual, and consistent Valid driver's license and transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions About Company We are a locally owned group of businesses serving the Wood River Valley, focused on providing essential services to homeowners, contractors, and businesses.
