Job Overview We are seeking a Finish & Trim Carpenter to join our team in the luxury, higher end remodel industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for finishing tasks that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities Perform finish carpentry tasks including installing trim, moldings, and cabinetry. Assemble furniture and fixtures according to specifications. Restore and repair existing structures while ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including drywall and masonry workers. Conduct site assessments to determine project requirements and materials needed. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration. Experience Proven experience as a carpenter, particularly in finish carpentry roles. Familiarity with construction painting techniques and drywall installation. Knowledge of tile laying processes is a plus. Ability to plumb structures accurately to ensure proper alignment. Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of building materials and tools used in carpentry. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
