Job Description

Job Overview Blazin Saunas is hiring a dependable, hardworking Sauna Builder / Production Carpenter to help manufacture high-quality sauna kits in our shop. This is a hands-on production position involving cedar woodworking, component assembly, sanding, finishing, quality control, and packaging. The ideal candidate works efficiently, pays close attention to measurements and details, takes pride in producing quality work, and can follow established build sheets and shop processes. Carpentry or woodworking experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is reliable, motivated, and comfortable using tools. Responsibilities Build and assemble sauna kits and sauna components according to build sheets, measurements, and quality standards. Measure, cut, drill, sand, shape, and assemble cedar and other wood components. Construct sauna walls, benches, floors, trim, doors, roof components, and packaging materials. Safely operate common hand and power tools, including saws, drills, impact drivers, routers, sanders, nail guns, and similar shop equipment. Inspect completed parts for correct dimensions, fit, finish, and overall quality. Prepare and organize components for complete sauna kits. Package and crate finished sauna kits for shipment. Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized. Follow production schedules and communicate promptly about missing materials, defects, or build problems. Work closely with other team members to complete orders accurately and on time. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required protective equipment. Assist with loading, unloading, inventory, and other shop duties as needed. Qualifications Carpentry, woodworking, cabinet-shop, construction, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely. Able to read a tape measure and follow written measurements, drawings, and build instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Dependable, punctual, and able to stay productive throughout the workday. Willing to learn new tools, equipment, and production processes. Able to work independently after training and contribute as part of a team. Able to stand for extended periods and regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50-75 pounds with appropriate assistance. Must maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, catches mistakes before they become larger problems, and wants to help Blazin Saunas improve and grow. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys building tangible products and seeing a complete sauna kit come together from raw materials to shipment.
