Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a passion for working with concrete and related materials. This role involves various tasks on construction sites, including the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete. A successful Concrete Laborer will demonstrate mechanical knowledge, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety. Duties Prepare and clean work areas for concrete pouring Mix concrete using a concrete mixer and ensure proper consistency Install rebar and other reinforcement materials as needed Form concrete structures using appropriate forming techniques Finish concrete surfaces to achieve desired textures and appearances Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials on-site Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Maintain a clean and organized work environment Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tasks Familiarity with construction estimating techniques Experience in rebar installation, hardscape, and concrete forming Proficiency in concrete finishing methods Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools Previous construction site experience is essential Knowledge of plastering, renovation, carpentry, roofing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, concrete pumping, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable Experience reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution Join our team as a Concrete Laborer where your skills will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting construction projects.
