Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early childhood learners in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract position offers the chance to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027, focusing on both blended and self-contained early childhood classrooms.
Qualifications:
Valid or eligible Illinois Occupational Therapy license Background in school-based OT or experience with early childhood populations preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teams and families Flexible mindset with the ability to problem solve in diverse situations How You'll Make an
Impact:
Ensure student participation in classroom activities by supporting development in fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities Adapt tasks and classroom environments to best meet students' individualized needs Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments as needed, delivering comprehensive, insightful reports from observations and testing Set, implement, and monitor IEP objectives and accommodations for students with varied abilities Foster ongoing communication with parents and educational colleagues to discuss developmental milestones and areas for growth
